Mikey was the best thing that happened to me.
When I first met Mikey he looked at me then looked away with a big smile on his face. And I will tell you now he didn't waste any time about getting my number, it didn't take long before we fell for each other, every day that I spent with Mikey was special.
Everytime I was with Mikey i felt so special because when we were together he made it feel like we were the only two people in the world.
Mikey has gone and I miss him so much it makes it a little easier knowing that it is not just me who has this feeling, Mikey has lots of friends and family who will miss him too, including his dad Lee, his stepmum Nannie, his older sister Rebecca and his younger brother and sisters.
Mikey meant so much to everyone and will be missed by everyone that loved him, especially me.

A Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family some things I’d like to say,
But first of all to let you know I arrived here ok.
I’m writing to you from heaven where I dwell with god above,
Where there are no more tears or sadness, there is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight,
Remember that I’m with you every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and he said, I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again you were missed while you were gone,
And as for your dearest family they’ll be here later on.
I need you here so badly, as part of my big plan,
There is so much we have to do to help our mortal man.
Then god gave me a list of things he wished me to do,
And foremost on that list of mine, is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you every day, and week, and year

And when you lay in bed at night, the days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years,

I wish that I could tell you of all that god has planned,

It was always my philosophy and I’d like it for you too

If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to god at night my day was not in vain.
And now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing that as I passed along the way that I made someone smile.
So if you meet somebody that is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick them up as on your way you go.
When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind,
Im walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
And when you feel that gentle breeze, or the wind upon your face,
That’s me giving you a great big hug, or just a soft embrace.
And when its time for you to go, from that body to be free,
Remember you’re not going. You are coming home to me!

Millie my heart goes out to you sweetheart, it is such a touching site that you have set up. I met my now husband at the age of 15, same as you he was not long in getting my number, looking at me and smiling then looking away! You have memories that you can always cherish! the pain will never go away babe but hopefully in time in will ease! You seem heartbroken and i do hope that one day you can move on from this!

Dear Millie,
I know you don't know me but i felt so touched when i read your memorial to Mikey that i felt i should leave a tribute. I've lived in Bramley all my life and heard about what happened to Mikey within hours. It upset me a lot as the woods where this happened are the same woods where myself, my friends and many others played happily when we were kids. I understand that no words will ever describe how you feel at losing Mikey, he looks and sounds like such a lovely lad who lived life to the full and didn't want to miss out on anything. Unfortunately, i never got the privilage to meet him but i know people who did. Please accept my love to you, your family and Mikey's. I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that in time your pain eases. Thankyou for creating this lovely memorial to Mikey where your love for him shows greatly. All my love to you all. Lucy x
